A month ago my husband and I adopted a rescue dog who has become the center of our hearts. We chose to see Dr. Sage at Animal House as we heard such good things about him. I cannot express how incredibly happy we were with our decision. He was just amazing with our little girl Trixie. Kind, compassionate, patient, extremely thorough and so very knowledgeable. He answered our numerous questions without ever becoming inpatient or making us feel like overbearing dog owners. In addition, every single member of the staff was caring and professional. I highly recommend Animal House and Dr. Sage for anyone looking to put their pet's health in the hands of angels. They are amazing!

Thank you to Dr. Sage, Catalina and everyone at Animal House in North Aurora. We recently had to put down our beloved Bichon Buddy, and everyone was so compassionate and kind. You all made the process a little easier. From the appointment itself where Dr. Sage allowed us as much time as we needed with Buddy and prepared us for how everything would happen, to the technicians on the phone who answered all my questions with such kindness. I can tell you all really love animals. When I picked up his paw print caster, the technician asked how I was doing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and care you gave Buddy and to us.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received over the last 15 years from Dr Sage. Our Weimaraner had some very unique conditions which Dr Sage treated with care and understanding, even coming up with alternative ideas when common practice didn’t work. After she passed, we had 2 rescue dogs; one of which was abused. Both dogs took to Dr Sage immediately. His calm demeanor and kindness shows through. He’s smart, unassuming, professional, immensely knowledgeable. I would recommend Dr Sage without reservation!!

What an amazing experience at Animal House. I first found them when I was looking for an urgent appointment for my dog. They were the only local office that were available to see a new pet on an urgent basis on that day. That gave me such comfort and relief knowing that she was going to be seen. The staff did such an amazing job and put me at ease. My dog was initially seen by Dr. Griffith and she provided a lot of helpful information and did thorough exam for her. A few days later I was in need of having my dogs in again and they were quick to have her come in that same day and she was treated by Dr. Sage. Dr. Sage did an amazing job keeping me informed and giving me as much information as possible. She was referred to a specialist. After my specialist visit, Dr. Sage gave me a call to follow up and let me know that he had received the report from the specialist and wanted me to know that they were available in case anything else came up and we needed their services. It’s so rare to find a veterinarian who does postop calls just to let you know they’ve received the specialist information and to reassure you that they are there should your pet need any of their services. I was truly blown away and impressed at how caring and attentive their entire team was. I am so glad I found their office. I would definitely recommend them for your pets care.

We have been taking our four cats, first it was two cats, then three, and now four, to Animal House since 2003. Our kitties see Dr. Ammon, and there are no words to describe what a wonderful doctor he is!! He really cares for each of our cats, whatever their need(s) may be. He will go to the Clinic after hours to see how an animal he is treating is doing; he is always very patient when we ask him questions; I could go on and on but I won't. PLEASE don't hesitate to take your pet there!! You will not find another clinic with doctors who genuinely care about your pet as they do!!

I have been taking my furkids here for years. Before finding this clinic I had to deal with clinics that were only out for your money and not the welfare of the pets. Animal House puts the interest of your pet first, their doctors are kind and knowledgeable. Your pet is in good hands here.

Best vet experience I have had so far as a pet owner. Really caring and helpful staff, they even loaned me a top-loading carrier when I could not get my injured cat into her usual one. They called to follow up about how she was dping, too. And compared to other similar smaller, more "personal" veteranarians, pretty low price point.

Wanted to find a local vet for our new puppy, I think we have found them:) The vets and staff there are very knowledgeable and answer all your questions. The first visit was even free because she was a rescue. Would recommend Animal House to anyone looking for a caring place to bring your pets.

Dr. Sage is absolutely amazing. Caring, compassionate, gentle with animals and owners alike. Extremely knowledgeable and has an absolutely incredible recall. The first time we took our aging dog to him he did a thorough physical. Several months later, he remembered everything from the initial exam and commented on changes in muscle tone and more. Run into him in public and he won't wait for you to bring up the topic of your pet. He's never too busy to give you all the time you and your pet need for A-1 care.

I can't believe there are no reviews of this place! We have been using Animal House for the last couple years after moving to Aurora. This is, hands down, the best vet I've ever used. All of the staff is great- and we've seen Dr's Sage, Gebhard, and Ammon numerous times with our elderly dog, and don't have a favorite, because they've all been so knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. We have been out of the office for a bit after the passing of our last dog, but with the newest addition to our family, this will be the only place we ever go.
